Editing an Exported XML File Manually

Procedure

  1. In the appliance user interface, use Administration > Import/Export to export at least one entity of the appropriate entity type from the appliance to your local system.
  2. Modify the resulting XML file in any text or XML editor.
    For more information on what the XML tags are for, see Description and Usage of XML Tags.
  3. Import the modified XML file into another appliance using the Import tab.
    Caution: If there are any errors in the XML file (typographical or invalid entries), the import fails.
