Modifying Effective Date Synchronization Profile

The Modify Synchronization Profile screen enables you to modify details of an existing Synchronization Profile. After completing and saving a new definition, you can synchronize (publish) the Synchronization Profile.

Procedure

  1. Enter the following details in the Synchronization Profile section:
    • the repository Version (latest, by date, or by named version)
    • the Synchronization Profile Name and Description
    • the Subset Rule
    • the Transformation Rulebase
    • the Record State and the Incremental status. (Note that the repository name cannot be modified.)
  2. Select the following Delivery Options:
    • For a Backend System, you can modify the backend system.
    • (GDSN Only) For a Datapool or Backend System on Datapool, you can select the Datapool.
    • Other options you can modify include the Output Format, the Delivery Mechanism (local, FTP, or email), and the Destination Address.
  3. Enter the following details in the Future Effective Date section:
    • the type of Future Records Filter
    • whether or not to Apply Future Records Cut-off
    • the Future Records Cut-off Days
  4. Enter the following details in the Format Specific Attributes section:
    • the Classification Scheme (if applicable)
    • the Valid From and Valid To dates
    • whether to generate an Output file
  5. Click Save to save any modifications.
