Canonical Analysis

Canonical Analysis, a multivariate technique, is used to assess the relationship between two sets of variables.

Examples of applications are: in a medical study, the relationship of a series of risk factors to the development of a range of symptoms, or in a marketing study, exposure to specific advertisements and purchase intent for various brands.
