Award & Limits Options
In the Awards & Limits section, you can specify the types of referral activities for which points are awarded, and the number of points awarded, as follows:
Specify the number of points you give a customer for supplying each email address. For example, you could specify that "Referrer gets 1 point for every 1 email address entered."
Specify the number of points you give a customer for an email address that turns into an enrolled loyalty club member. For example, you could specify that "Referrer gets 10 points for every 1 referred signup". If you get an enrolled loyalty customer from a referral, the referral is worth more to you than an email address.
Specify the number of points you give a customer for referring a friend who enrolled and made a first purchase. For example, you could specify that Referrer gets 25 points for every 1 referred's first transaction".
Note: Points are accrued for each type of referral that you define and enable, which has a cumulative effect. If you give referral points for each of the qualifying referral activities and a referral results in both a sign-up and a transaction, you award points three times, once for each of the three activities.
This setting applies a limitation specifically to referrals for email addresses entered.
