Software Editions
The application is available as a core edition with additional plug-ins providing further capabilities.
| Plug-in | Description |
|---|---|
| MDM (Default) | This is the core software edition. It provides the core data modeling, business process, and workflow frameworks. |
| GDSN | The GDSN plug-in provides additional templates, workflows, and validation rules for supported standard datapools. This plug-in is for global data synchronization network users, primarily focused on product information management. Most of the user interface of the plug-in uses GDSN-specific terminology. |
| Note: The two software editions differ slightly in terms of terminology, look and feel, and some minor features. Both software editions are, however, built based on a common underlying architecture and infrastructure. | |
