Synchronization Formats

Synchronization formats define the attributes and structure of the data required by the consumers of that data. The output map defines mappings of repository attributes to synchronization format. When a repository is synchronized, the synchronization format provides the structure for the output information.

Synchronization formats define the data formats required by any External System or Datapool. The format defines the attributes and their order.

If you are defining a synchronization format to use for a file generation, you can also specify additional control parameters to organize the file.

(GDSN Only) Many predefined formats are supplied that cannot be modified.
