Backend System

The Backend System List screen displays all the backend systems defined.

You can access the Backend Systems screen by clicking Administration > Backend System Profiles.

You can see details such as the name, whether it is a global partner or not, and the backend system’s default synchronization format. Global indicates if the backend system is visible to all the companies within the same instance of TIBCO MDM. Global backend systems are partners who are shared across companies. These profiles can be used and viewed at all other companies, but can only be modified by the company which defined it. This allows centralized management of partner profiles.

From this screen, you can:

  • Create a backend system profile
  • View and modify a backend system profile
  • Delete a backend system profile
