Effective Date Relationship

A relationship between records can also have an effective date. The effective date is applied to the relationship and its associated attributes. If one of the related repositories have an EFFECTIVEDATE attribute, it is mandatory to have an EFFECTIVEDATE attribute on the Relationship.

A relationship Effective Date should be the same or later than the participant records' effective dates. If a record is confirmed and a future effective date is not specified, it is stored as the current date. For more information, refer to Types of Relationships.
