Input Maps

Instead of using input maps for data transformation, keep the input maps simple with no expressions. Use rulebases during the import step to transform the data.

Expressions entered in the input map are limited to simple expressions that work on one or more attributes. Expressions cannot include procedures and they are limited to the specific database being used. To specify sequences in the expression, you ms ut implement an SQL function.
