Features of Scheduler for Effective Date

The following are the main features of Scheduler:

  • By default, the scheduler is triggered everyday at 00:00 hours, which is specified in the CronSchedules.xml file.
  • If the effective date is on or before the date scheduler is run, the records become effective.
  • If a CONFIRMED or UNCONFIRMED version greater than the future effective date record to be made effective exists, a new record version is created.
  • If a CONFIRMED or UNCONFIRMED version greater than the future effective date record to be made effective does not exist, it becomes a golden copy without creating a new version.
  • To track the scheduler process, event and product logs are generated. To view the event and its product logs, login as super user and go to the Event Log screen and click Record Modify event.
