Sending a Message for Effective Date Records

This option is used for synchronization. When data is synchronized, a record can be published from one enterprise to another using the Send Message utility.

1. Click Browse and Search. From the Repository Name drop-down list, select the name of the repository.
2. In the Filter drop-down list, select Only future dated versions or Include future dated versions. A list of all future effective date records is displayed.
3. Click the record ID of the record that you want to publish to the retailer enterprise.
4. From the More Actions menu, choose Send Message. The Send Message screen is displayed. Enter appropriate dates in the fields.
   
5. Click the Submit button to publish the record. The Record View screen is displayed.
6. Click the Ok button. The record is published.
