Starting the Server Prerequisites

Before you launch Configurator, start the Tomcat web server.

To start the Tomcat web server, ensure that the following environment variables are set:

Procedure

  1. JAVA_HOME points to a JDK and not a JRE.
  2. JAVA_HOME points to a JDK and not a JRE.
  3. MQ_HOME points to the TIBCO MDM installation directory.
  4. Optionally, the MQ_CONFIG_FILE environment variable should also be set to point to the XML configuration file (ConfigValues.xml). If MQ_CONFIG_FILE is not defined or empty, the default value of $MQ_HOME/config/ConfigValues.xml is used.
