Synchronization Output File
Synchronization bundles a root repository output file and the related repositories output file together into a ZIP file along with other output files. You can download the ZIP file from the Event Details screen.
The ZIP folder contains the following files:
- An index file (Index_Date-Time.txt): includes a list of files names containing in the ZIP.
- An output file for every output format supported by the output map. For example, if a source output map and the related output maps support the GS1 format, there is one file comprising all information related to all the output maps. However, if the source output map supports the GS1 format and the related output map supports the
ean.ucc format, two files are generated for each of these output formats respectively.
The output file contains a header column for every attribute that is being exported based on the output map. However, the CONTAINS attribute is explicitly populated. Note that only the forward relationships are populated in the CONTAINS field. For more information on the CONTAINSattribute refer to the section Explicit Relationship Using the CONTAINS Attribute.
Note: If the cross-repository related data is exported, the CONTAINS field is not present in the export output file. This is a known limitation while exporting cross-repository relationships. In other cases, the CONTAINS field is included in the export file.
If you have defined synchronization cross-repository relationship and classification schemes, the ZIP folder also contains the following files:
- Multiple output files
- Relationship file containing record relationship information
- Relationship attribute file for each relationship
- Relationship CONTAINS file
- Classification output file
Note: When a workflow is run as in-memory, no event is generated. As a result, you cannot check event details for operations triggered by an in-memory workflow. In this case, click the check progress link that redirects you to a page. The page displays an in-memory operation message instead of displaying the progress.
- A relationship file (Relationship_DateTime.txt) : contains the relationship between the root and the related repositories.
Since release 8.2, the RECORDSYNCLOG database table is introduced to keep the final status of synchronization. The table stores all the records that are processed during a particular event for synchronization operation and its related sub operations.
If the exported records contains records with a time zone, the system time zone is displayed for those records whether or not the time zone format is selected for the user.
