Delete a Delegation
You can delete a delegation by clicking Delete on the Role Delegation screen. If you want to delete a role delegation, you must first revoke the delegation from My Account Profile and then delete the delegation from Role Delegation user interface. To learn about revoking the delegation, refer to the section Deactivating Delegation of Work Item for a User under Delegation Profile.
For example, assume that you delegated work items to the role of a Data Steward. User1 and User3 are Data Stewards who are still working on work items delegated to them. Before deleting the delegation of Data Steward, ensure that you revoke the delegated roles for User 1 and User 3.
Once you revoke delegations for users, you can delete the role. Click Administration > Roles > Manage Role Delegation. In the Role Delegation list, select the role and click Delete. An alert message appears.
Click OK. The role delegation is deleted. If you click Cancel, the delegated role is not updated.
