Records with both Implicit and Explicit Relationships

Consider a scenario when the data source has both implicit and explicit relationships. Assume that a record (for example, CUST01), having the CONTAINS attribute, appears more than once in the data source. In both the records, the CONTAINS attribute establishes a relationship with one of the records in the repository, (for example, Cust02). During import, ensure that you are explicitly populating the CONTAINS attribute of the duplicate record with the relationship details; otherwise the content in the CONTAINS attribute will be lost. Consider the following data source:

To retain old explicit relationships, during an Import activity, ensure that the CONTAINS attribute of the second occurrence of CUST01 is populated with the relationship details.
