Specify Sample Size

Click the Sample size button on the Sampling Plans Results dialog box - Fixed sampling plan tab to display the Specify sample size dialog box.

Sample size
Enter a value in the Sample size box (or adjust the value with the microscrolls) to specify a sample size. This value will be used to compute the resultant Beta error probability (probability of not detecting a "bad" batch). To see the resultant confidence limits for the mean under H0, click the Summary: Results for fixed sampling plans button on the Sampling Plans Results dialog - Fixed sampling plan tab.
