Two-Way Joining Results - Advanced Tab

To access the options described here, select the Advanced tab of the Two-Way Joining Results dialog box.

Summary: Two-way joining graph To display a graphical representation of the results of the two-way joining procedure, click the Summary: Two-way joining graph button. Specifically, the reordered data matrix is represented in a discrete contour plot.
Descriptive statistics for cases (rows) To display a standard spreadsheet with means and standard deviations for each case (that is, row of the data matrix) across variables (columns of the data matrix), click the Descriptive statistics for cases (rows) button.
Descriptive statistics for variables Descriptive statistics for variables. To display a standard spreadsheet with means and standard deviations for each variable (that is, column of the data matrix) across cases (rows of the data matrix), click the Descriptive statistics for variables button.
Reordered data matrix To display a standard spreadsheet with the complete data matrix, reordered according to the results of the two-way joining computations, click the Reordered data matrix button. Note that the goal of this procedure is to simultaneously cluster cases and variables, that is, to move similar data points together as closely as possible by reordering the columns and rows of the data matrix. Refer to Hartigan (1975) for a detailed description of this procedure and its applications.
