Comparing Samples

Click the OK button in the Comparing Survival in Multiple Groups dialog box to display the Comparing Survival in Multiple Groups, Results dialog box, which contains three tabs: Quick, Advanced, and Descriptives. The options on these tabs are used to choose how to display the results of the analysis.

Option Description
Summary box The Summary box displays summary information about the current analysis.
Copy button Copies either the selected text (if text has been selected) in the Summary box or all of the text (if no text has been selected) to the Clipboard. Note that the copied text retains formatting information (such as font, color).
Contract/Expand button Contracts or expands the Summary box. When contracted, you can see only one line of the Summary box text and can scroll through the text using a scroll bar. Note that when contracted the text is scrolled so that the first non-blank line is at the top. When expanded (the default setting), the entire Summary box is displayed on the Comparing Survival in Multiple Groups, Results dialog box.
Summary Displays a spreadsheet with all survival times (note that censored observations are marked by a + sign) and the scores (computed according to Mantel's procedure) used for the computation of the test statistic.
Cancel Closes the dialog box without performing an analysis and returns to the Comparing Survival in Two Groups dialog box.
Options Displays the Options menu.
By Group Displays the By Group specification dialog box.
