K-Nearest Neighbors Results - Custom Predictions Tab

K-nearest Neighbors

Select the Custom predictions tab of the K-Nearest Neighbors Results dialog box to access the options described here.

A frequent requirement is to perform "What-if?" analyses, where you want to know what would happen if changes were made to a particular predictor case. This tab is designed to perform this type of analysis where you can verify the response of your KNN model given a data case of your choice.

User defined case

Click this button to display a standard user input spreadsheet, which is used to assign values of your choice to the independent variables.

Predictions

Click this button to produce a spreadsheet containing the user-defined values of the independent variables together with the corresponding prediction of the KNN model.
