Analyze Button

The goal of the Analyze phase of the Six Sigma quality effort is to identify the root cause(s) of quality problems and to confirm those causes using the appropriate data analysis tools. Shortcuts are provided to the following modules and analytic facilities:

Cause and Effect Diagrams
Select Cause and Effect Diagrams from the Analyze menu to produce a cause-and-effect (Ishikawa, or fishbone) diagram; links to the Process Analysis module.
t-test
Select t-test from the Analyze menu to display the t-test for Independent Samples by Groups dialog of the Basic Statistics/Tables module.
Paired t-test
Select Paired t-test from the Analyze menu to display the t-test for Dependent Samples dialog of the Basic Statistics/Tables module.
Nonparametric Tests
Select Nonparametric Tests from the Analyze menu to display the Nonparametric Statistics Startup Panel.
Stratification Analysis
Select Stratification Analysis from the Analyze menu to display the Statistics by Groups (Breakdown) dialog of the Basic Statistics/Tables module.
Correlations
Select Correlations from the Analyze menu to display the Product-Moment and Partial Correlations dialog of the Basic Statistics/Tables module.
2D Scatterplots
Select 2D Scatterplots from the Analyze menu to display the 2D Scatterplots dialog.
3D Scatterplots
Select 3D Scatterplots from the Analyze menu to display the 3D Scatterplots dialog.
Regression
Select Regression from the Analyze menu to display the startup panel of the Multiple Regression module.
Experimental Design
Select Experimental Design from the Analyze menu to display the Experimental Design Startup Panel .
GLM
Select GLM from the Analyze menu to display the startup panel of the  General Linear Models (GLM) module.
GLZ
Select GLZ from the Analyze menu to display the startup panel of the Generalized Linear/Nonlinear Models (GLZ) module.
