Help Topics Button
Click the button to access the Statistica Help. Statistica provides comprehensive, context-sensitive, on-line documentation for all program procedures and all options, which is available by pressing the F1 key on your keyboard or by clicking the help button on the toolbar or the caption bar of all dialog boxes (there are more than 100 megabytes of compressed documentation included). Due to its dynamic hypertext organization (and various facilities that can be used to customize the help system), it is usually faster to use the on-line documentation than to look for information in the printed manuals. Note that the status bar also displays short explanations of the menu commands or toolbar buttons, available when a command is highlighted or a button clicked. In addition, you can press the help key (F1) when the command is highlighted for more information on any menu command.
- Statistical Advisor
- A Statistical Advisor facility is built into the Help.
You can access the Statistical Advisor from the Help table of contents, or from the STATISTICA Help tab (ribbon bar), or from the Help menu (classic menus). The Statistical Advisor presents a set of simple questions about the nature of the research problem and the type of your data. The program then suggests the statistical procedures that appear most relevant and tells you where to find them in Statistica.
