Tools - Wizard

Select Wizard from the Statistica Workspace Tools menu to display a sequence of dialog boxes for setting up a data mining project, guiding you through the following steps:

Procedure

  1. selecting a data source,
  2. selecting the variables in that data source for subsequent analyses,
  3. selecting one or more nodes (analyses or data cleaning operations) to be performed on the data source. Note that upon inserting those nodes, they are automatically updated with the selected data source and variables chosen in that data source.

Result

This option provides a convenient shortcut for setting up basic data mining projects very quickly.
