Design & Analysis of Experiments Startup Panel
Ribbon bar. Select the Statistics tab. In the Industrial Statistics group, click DOE to display the Design & Analysis of Experiments Startup Panel.
The Startup Panel contains two tabs: Quick and Advanced.
After choosing any of the designs other than the last two options on the Advanced tab, you can elect either to generate a design or to analyze a data set. Designs can be displayed in spreadsheets, and you can randomize the runs of the experiment (within blocks where appropriate). Blank columns can be added to the spreadsheets; thus, you can print the spreadsheets to use as convenient data entry forms. Once generated, all designs can be saved to a standard Statistica data file (in standard or randomized order); after appending the actual (observed) data from the experiment to those data files, they can easily be analyzed using this program. See also Experimental Design.
