Ranking Values

The Rank Order Values dialog box displayed when you click Rank on the Data tab in the Transformations group (ribbon bar), or select Rank from the Data menu (classic menus)] contains options to perform ranking. The values of the variable in the spreadsheet are replaced with the rankings of those values. If you want to preserve the original values of the variable, make a copy of this variable (using the Copy Variables option) and perform the ranking on the duplicated variable.
