Stub and Banner Tables
Creates a summary stub-and-banner table. In general, stub-and-banner tables are two-way tables where one list is tabulated in the columns (horizontally) and the second list is tabulated in the rows (vertically) of the spreadsheet. Requires a list of categorical dependent variables, and another list of categorical predictor variables.
Element Name | Description |
---|---|
General | |
Detail of computed results reported | Specifies the level of computed results reported. If Comprehensive detail is requested, then categorized histograms and interaction plot(s) for the selected table(s) are also computed; if All results is selected, detailed statistics for the two-way tables are reported. |
Percentages of total counts | Creates and reports percentages relative to the total number of cases in the current table for each cell in the tables. |
Percentages of row counts | Creates and reports percentages relative to the total number of cases in the respective row of the current table for each cell in the tables. |
Percentages of column counts | Creates and report percentages relative to the total number of cases in the respective column of the current table for each cell in the Summary tables, Detailed two-way tables, and Stub-and-banner tables. |
Value for highlight counts | Highlights all counts (raw frequencies) in the table that are greater than the value entered into this edit field. |
Creates expected frequencies | Creates and reports expected frequencies for two-way tables; only applicable if Level of detail is not Minimal. Select this option to compute the expected cell frequencies contingent upon complete independence of all factors in the detailed two-way tables. Thus, for detailed two-way tables, those expected frequencies are computed based on the marginal frequencies for the two factors in the current table. |
Creates residual frequencies | Creates the residual frequencies (observed minus expected frequencies; see above) for all Detailed two-way tables; only applicable if Level of detail is not Minimal. |
