Formats can be quickly and consistently applied to segments of data. Once a format has been created (see 
		  Create a New Format), it can be applied to any part (or all) of the data in a spreadsheet.
		
		To apply an existing format, follow these instructions:
		
		
		  - In the spreadsheet, select the cells that you want to format.
		  
 
		  - You can display the 
			 Format Manager dialog box.
			 
				- Ribbon bar. Select the 
				  Format tab. In the 
				  Block group, click 
				  Format Manager to display the 
				  Format Manager dialog box.
				
 
				- Classic menus. From the 
				  Format - Block submenu, select 
				  Format Manager to display the 
				  Format Manager dialog box.
				
 
			 
		   
		  - Select the name of the format you want to apply to the selected cells.
			 
Note: You can also right-click the block of selected cells in the spreadsheet, and from the shortcut menu, select the desired format from the 
				
Format submenu.
