Life Table and Distribution of Survival Times

Select Life tables & Distributions on the Survival and Failure Time Analysis Startup Panel - Quick tab and click OK to display the Life Table & Distribution of Survival Times dialog box, which contains two tabs: Raw data and Table of survival times.
Option Description
Correct intervals containing no terminations/deaths Determines whether intervals in which there are no deaths or terminations is adjusted so that survival distributions can be fitted. Parameters cannot be computed for intervals where no deaths or terminations occur; by default (box is selected) the proportion surviving in those intervals is adjusted by Statistica (the proportion surviving is set to .5/number exposed).
Note: Do not select this check box when generating a life table for descriptive purposes.
OK Displays the Life Table & Survival Time Distribution Results dialog box (or the standard variable selection dialog box if you have not already specified your variables).
Cancel Closes the dialog box without performing an analysis and return to the Survival and Failure Time Analysis Startup Panel
Options Displays the Options menu.
Select Cases Displays the Analysis/Graph Case Selection Conditions dialog box, which is used to create conditions for which cases are included or excluded in the current analysis. For more information see the case selection conditions overview and syntax summary.
W Displays the Analysis/Graph Case Weights dialog box, which is used to adjust the contribution of individual cases to the outcome of the current analysis by weighting those cases in proportion to the values of a selected variable.
