PLS Analysis Syntax Editor - Keywords Tab

Select the Keywords tab of the PLS Analysis Syntax Editor to access options to enter command syntax to completely specify the analysis, as well as various parameters that are used in the computations. The available keywords can be typed directly into the Analysis syntax edit field, or entered by clicking on the respective buttons to insert them in the Analysis syntax edit field, at the current location of the cursor.

Note: PLS and GLM syntax conventions. Overviews and examples are available for the PLS syntax. See PLS Syntax Overview and PLS Syntax Examples for further details. The PLS syntax conventions are essentially identical to the GLM syntax conventions (see General Linear Models (GLM)), with only a few additions and omissions. Note that the Generalized Linear/Nonlinear Model (GLZ), General Regression Models (GRM), General Discriminant Analysis Models, and ANOVA modules also use similar syntax, with sets of additional keywords (options) that are specific to those particular applications.

A variety of Keyword options are available. Click the respective Keyword buttons to insert the corresponding keyword into the Analysis syntax edit field at the current location of the cursor.

Most of the links below will take you to the description of the respective keywords in the context of the GLM syntax. Those keywords that are unique to PLS, or have a different "meaning" in the context of PLS, are shown in italics. For more details on the syntax for a specific keyword, click on that keyword below.
