Fast Independent Component Analysis Startup Panel - Options Tab
Select the Options tab of the Fast Independent Component Analysis Startup Panel to access the options described here.

| Algorithm | Box | The Algorithm group box contains the following options (Parallel and Deflation): |
| Parallel (simultaneous extraction) | Button | Specifies the simultaneous extraction (multi unit) method for implementing the Fast ICA algorithm. |
| Deflation (one at a time) | Button | Specifies the deflation (one unit) method for implementing the Fast ICA algorithm. |
| Function | Box | The Function group box contains the following options: |
| Log-cosh negative entropy: Select this option button to use the Log-cosh function for measuring nongaussianity. | ||
| Exponential negative entropy: Select this option button to use the negative exponential function in for measuring nongaussianity. | ||
| Normalize variables | Checkbox | Select this check box to specify that the variables will be centralized around their observed means. |
