Workspace Node: 3D Scatterplots - Advanced Tab

In the 3D Scatterplots workspace node dialog box, select the Advanced tab to access the following options.

Element Name Description
Variables Click this button to display a variable selection dialog box, in which you can select the x-, y-, and one or more z-axis variables for the graph. The selections made will be displayed below the Variables button.
Graph Type Select the type of 3D scatterplot to be plotted. Click the desired plot link below for a brief description of that type of graph.

Scatterplot

Space Plot

Spectral Plot

Deviation Plot

Trace Plot

Statistics Select the Multiple r(z/xy) check box to include the multiple correlation in the footnote of the graph.
Deviation Level (Applicable to Deviation plots and Space plots) Specify a value on the z-axis that determines the level from which deviations are derived; or in the case of Space Plots, this value determines the Z-level of the X-Y plane.
Number of Planes (Applicable to Spectral plots) Specify the number of spectral planes into which the data are segmented (compressed).
Mark Selected Subsets When you click this button, the Specify Multiple Subsets dialog box will be displayed, in which you can specify selection conditions that will subset (i.e., categorize) the cases in one plot. For more information, see Mark Selected Subsets.

Options / C / W. See Common Options.

OK Click this button to accept all the specifications made in the dialog box and to close it. The results are placed in the Reporting Documents node after running (updating) the project.
