Variable Names to Insert

Click the Variables button on the GLM Analysis Syntax Editor - Specifications tab to display the Variable Names to Insert dialog. Note that this dialog will also be displayed when you click the Variables button on the GDA, GLZ, GRM, PLS, and MANOVA Analysis Syntax Editor - Specifications tabs.

Select variables Select the variable names to be entered into the Analysis syntax edit field on the GLM Analysis Syntax Editor dialog, at the current location of the cursor, by highlighting them in the Select variables list and then clicking on the OK button. If you choose to select the variables by highlighting them in the list, you can select a continuous block of variables by holding down the mouse button and dragging the cursor over the variables that you want to highlight. You can also highlight a continuous block of variables by clicking on the first variable name that you want to select, and while holding down the SHIFT key, clicking on the last variable name that you want to select. This method will select (highlight) the first and last variables and all variables in-between. You can select discontinuous blocks of variables by holding down the CTRL key and then clicking on each variable that you want to select.
Note: deselecting previously selected variables. You can deselect discontinuous or continuous blocks of previously selected variables by holding down the CTRL key and then clicking on each variable that you want to deselect.
OK Click the OK button to enter the selected variable names into the Analysis syntax edit field on the GLM Analysis Syntax Editor dialog at the current location of the cursor.
Cancel Click the Cancel button to close this dialog and return to the GLM Analysis Syntax Editor dialog without entering any variables names into the Analysis syntax edit field.
