Standardize
This node computes and creates a new output data spreadsheet with standardized values.
Dependent; Cont
Element Name | Description |
---|---|
Standardize | Specifies whether to perform the standardization for a specified subset list of variables only (within this list of continuous dependent variables). |
Subset of variables; from | This option is only applicable if the standardization is to be performed for selected variables only. Specify the first variable in the range of variables in the list of continuous dependent variables for which to perform the standardization. Specify a number that will be interpreted as the index to the list of continuous dependent variables; for example, if you specified '3', then the standardization will be performed starting with the third variable in the list of continuous dependent variables (and not with variable number 3 in the original data file). |
Subset of variables; to | This option is only applicable if the standardization is to be performed for selected variables only. Specify the last variable in the range of variables in the list of continuous dependent variables for which to perform the standardization. Specify a number that will be interpreted as the index to the list of continuous dependent variables; for example, if you specified '3', then the standardization will be performed for the third variable in the list of dependent variables (and not up to variable number 3 in the original data file). |

Subset
Element Name | Description |
---|---|
Subset variables downstream | This node will create a data spreadsheet for further subsequent analyses. You can either create a subset of the variables, retaining only those that were selected for the analyses (select Yes), or you can 'carry along' all variables from the original input data source. |
