Shift Variables
This dialog box is used to shift a selected variable backward ("up") or forward ("down"), relative to the other variables in the file, by a specified number of cases (lag). Statistica adds blank cases to the remaining variables in the file either before the first case (if the selected variable is shifted backward) or after the last case of the data file (if the selected variable is shifted forward).
