Workspace Node: Cox Proportional Hazards - Results - Survivor Function Tab

In the Cox Proportional Hazards node dialog box, under the Results heading, select the Survivor Function tab to access the following options.

Element Name Description
Number of Covariate patterns To create custom survival and cumulative hazard curves for specific values of covariates, first decide how many covariate patterns you want, and type in that total here.
Specify covariate values Once you have decided how many covariate patterns you want, click this button to specify those values in the Specify covariate values dialog box, a user-defined input spreadsheet.
Note: The codes for complete responses and censored responses must be specified on the Specifications - Quick tab before the Specify covariate values dialog box can be displayed.
Plot Select this check box to create a plot for each of the survival function(s) and cumulative hazard function(s) as specified by the user-defined covariate values.
Summary Select this check box to produce a spreadsheet of the survival function(s) and cumulative hazard function(s) as specified by the user defined covariate values.
Survivor function This group box contains options for how the survivor function and confidence intervals are computed.
Survivor function Select this check box to compute an estimate of the survival curve for each user defined covariate pattern.
Estimator This group box contains two options for how the survivor function is computed.
Breslow Select this option button to compute the survivor function using the Breslow method.
Kaplan-Meier Select this option button to compute the survivor function using the Kaplan-Meier method.
Add confidence interval Select this check box if you want to compute a confidence interval along with the survivor function.
Type This group box contains options for the method of how the confidence interval for the survivor function will be computed.
Log Select this option button to compute confidence intervals using the formula Log:
Normal Select this option button to compute confidence intervals using the formula:
Log-Log Select this option button to compute confidence intervals using the formula:
Cumulative Hazard function This group box contains the following two options.
Cumulative Hazard Select this check box to compute an estimate of the cumulative hazard curve for each user-defined covariate pattern.
Add confidence interval Select this check box if you want to compute a confidence interval along with the cumulative hazard function.
