Specifying Within-Subjects (Repeated Measures) Univariate and Multivariate Designs - Multivariate (MANOVA) Multi-Way Within-Subjects (Repeated Measures) Designs

STATISTICA "cycles" through the list of dependent variables in order to assign dependent variables to levels of the repeated measures factor. If there are more variables in the dependent variable list than the total number of levels, a multivariate analysis of variance will automatically be performed. STATISTICA assigns variables to consecutive levels of repeated measures factors as before, however, for each level of each repeated measures factor, STATISTICA cycles through the number of dependent variables and assigns them to one of the multiple dependent measures.

For example, if you want to specify a 2 x 3 repeated measures ANOVA with 2 dependent variables, then STATISTICA would assign consecutive variables in the dependent variable list as follows:

Note: what is important is the position of the dependent variables in the Dependent variable list field, not their position in the datafile.
